The Abbadia Isola -a stone’s throw from Monteriggioni - is hosting a lavish and historical new year’s eve party called Capodanno Medievale di Monteriggioni.
This is a factual historical banquet involving jesters, jugglers, magicians and fire-eaters all in ancient costumes conjuring up the lavishness and the magic of Italian Medieval times. Even the menu is taken right from the 11th century.
The whole banquet/event lasts 3-5 hours and costs €135,00. Should you feel like embracing the spirit of this party in full, they let you even don a Medieval costume for € 15,00.
