We pitted fake Italian food against real Italian food so that you can tell them apart.
Italian food in North America comes in many shapes and colors. And quite annoyingly these are often the wrong shapes and the wrong colors - at least until now. In a series of articles Aka Italy will show you the struggle between what’s real and what’s fake in the realm of the Italian cuisine.

4 Eggs
4 or more slices of bacon
Black pepper
Locatelli pecorino cheese….. 300 gr
Cream
Real
Spaghetti or rigatoni (dry not fresh) …………………… 200 gr
1 egg yolk + 1 entire egg (yolk and egg white)
Guangiale (if you don’t know what guangiale is don’t try your hand at this)
Pecorino cheese …………………………. 30 -40 gr
